Author Story

Robert Crawford’s life is a powerful story of resilience, faith, and transformation. Born in rural Jamaica in 1959, his early years were marked by poverty, strict discipline, and painful personal losses. Yet, in the midst of hardship, he was guided by the unwavering prayers and prophetic vision of his mother, who instilled in him the belief that his life was destined for purpose.
Determined to rise above limitations, Robert pursued education, ministry, and a lifelong commitment to service. What began as small steps teaching children in his community, supporting adult literacy, and humbly serving in church, grew into a global mission. His work has since taken him across Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, and beyond, where he has inspired and uplifted countless lives.
Today, Robert serves as the President of the International Federation of the Church of God (Seventh Day), a role that reflects both his leadership and his dedication to faith-driven service. His philosophy, inspired by the hymn “If I Can Help Somebody,” remains his guiding principle: “My living shall not be in vain.” Through his life and his book Unbroken: A Story of Adversity and Resilience, Robert invites others to discover hope, embrace perseverance, and walk confidently in their own purpose.
